Nelson Agholor Case Now in Hands of D.A

The proactive Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, Nelson Agholor’s legal problems with the authorities is far from resolved after his recent sexual assault case was escalated to the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office that is headed by Seth Williams. On Friday, June 10th, 2016, a female exotic dancer who works at the Cheerleaders Gentlemen’s Club reported to the authorities that Agholor assaulted her sexually inside the club.

The NFL has been one of the most competitive games in the world and it is important that the players maintain good physical fitness and avoid unnecessary negative publicity. Agholor’s performance in the 2015 NFL league was not impressive. He finished the campaign with only one touchdown and 23 receptions for 283 yards. The Philadelphia Eagles fans hope that he can come back and display his exceptional skills to the world, but this is subject to his presence on the field.

According to a statement released by Derek Boyko, the team’s spokesperson, the organization has contacted Agholor and authorities regarding this matter. However, he did not reveal the outcome of the talks due to the legal nature of the lawsuit.

According to the allegations made by the dancer, the incident occurred when Agholor visited the club in the evening after wrapping up the team’s final spring practice session. He was in the company of two teammates, Connor Barwin and Fletcher Cox. After the dancer filed the case with the Police Department, members of the Crime Scene Unit sprang into action and visited the club in search of evidence. Unfortunately, no video footage showing Agholor’s encounter with the dancer was found. The two teammates have separately issued public statements in a bid to distance themselves from the case.

According to a report posted on, the dispute arose when Nelson Agholor paid the dancer $800 instead of the agreed $1,400 for the time that they had spent in a private room.
